Tinto de Verano

Spain's cheap variation of sangria- tinto de verano, is quite simply a red-wine spritzer. Refreshing and delicious, this concoction is my go-to drink when I'm in the mood for something light. This easily drinkable cocktail is a delightful alternative to beer and wine.

1 Bottle of Pinot Noir
Lemon- lime soda
Sparkling water (optional)
Lemon wheel

Fill large wineglass/ goblet/ high ball glass with ice
Fill with equal parts red wine and lemon-lime soda
Adjust to taste with sparkling water to make it less sweet
Garnish with a lemon wheel

Classic Whisky Sour

For this week's drink, I am going to show you how to make a very popular whisky cocktail that is really tasty that you'll want to make this drink all over again. Today I am going to teach you how to make a classic whisky sour.

The ingredients to make this drink include:
1/2 oz of whisky
1 1/2 oz of lemon juice
3/4 oz sugar syrup

A cherry and lemon for garnish

You would first pour the whiskey, lemon juice, and sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Next you would shake the cocktail shaker well enough for the ingredients to be mixed together to have a nice citrus, bold, and crisp cocktail. Then you strain the cocktail into a chilled glass. Finally, this is optional but I would recommend to garnish the glass with the cherry and lemon onto the cocktail.

Hope you enjoy this weeks drink like I did. Enjoy!!!Image result for classic whisky sour
